New Fairfield residents are opposing a Danbury developer’s plan to build 24 cape-style homes on 11 acres near the New York state line. Neighbors raised concerns about well water, housing density and road safety during a public hearing. The developer says the project would include one-car garages and reserve at least 30 percent of the homes as low income. The Zoning Commission will continue reviewing the proposal in October.
